Our Approach

Finding a Path Together

Center of Being was created to provide community members of the Tewa lands we also call Albuquerque,

with a sense of belonging.

In so doing, we aim to respectfully acknowledge the traditional lands and people of our state, as well as to

welcome and honor diverse identities with services and spaces of safety, inclusiveness, and dependability throughout the therapeutic and evaluation experience.

We believe that every path toward healing and self-actualization requires connection and collaboration,

and that this requires our services to offer both stability and flexibility.

We are honored to journey with you to find a path that is tailored to who you are and what you need.

We utilize the following therapeutic orientations, modalities, and approaches:

  • Humanistic, Existential, & Person-Centered

  • Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (CBT, DBT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Play-based

  • Sand Tray

  • Somatic and Sensory-based
